Just 90 minutes from downtown Texas, Hippie Hollow is the only legal clothing-optional beach in the state. No swimsuit, no problem. You don’t have to worry about tan lines or skinny-dipping here as long as you’re aged 18 and above. Though often referred to as a nude “beach”, there isn’t much sand along the shores. It’s mostly rocky slopes and slippery limestone steps, so wear water shoes or sandals to spare your feet from cuts and blisters.
